2024 Ford Ranger, including Raptor trim, to debut in North America on May 10.

Ford Announces Launch of New Ranger and Raptor Models in North America

In 2021, Ford introduced the latest generation of Ranger trucks for non-North American markets, promising to reveal information about their US debut later.

After two and a half-year wait, the manufacturer has finally announced plans to release the all-new Ranger and highly anticipated Raptor models in America.

While the Raptor’s appearance has already been unveiled in other countries, further details about what Ford has in store for North American consumers will be released soon.

In a short teaser film that featured a V6 soundtrack and views of the truck speeding through the desert, Ford has announced the launch date for its all-new Ranger and highly anticipated Raptor models in North America.

The extreme off-road Raptor will debut simultaneously with the Ranger, a plus compared to the three-month gap between Ranger announcements in other markets.

While the long wait for the American Rangers was partially unexpected, Ford CEO Jim Farley had previously stated that it would appear in 2023.

Notably, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma will debut in North America just nine days before Ford’s new Ranger.

In reality, several special versions, such as the Ranger Wildtrak, Wildtrak X, Tremor, and Raptor, have been produced since the worldwide model first appeared on the market.

A brand-new Ford Everest based on the Ranger has also arrived, as has the one-of-a-kind Very Gay Ranger Raptor.

While we persevered with the T6 generation, which debuted in the US for the 2019 model year but dated back to 2011, a lot has undoubtedly happened in the Ranger world. So, yes, it’s time for a fresh start.

It’s doubtful that Ford will bring back its ‘EcoBlue’ diesel engines to the lineup, not that anyone is holding much hope for it.
