The Voice Is Planning Big for Season 30 With a Dream Coach Reunion
The Voice is reportedly preparing to go all out for its milestone 30th season, with plans to reunite some of the most beloved coaches in the show’s history. According to The Sun, NBC is willing to spend millions to assemble what could become the most star-studded coaching panel the series has ever seen.
The wish list includes Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, and Kelly Clarkson—four familiar faces who have each played major roles in the show’s success. While all have served as coaches before, they have never appeared together at the same time, making the potential lineup especially enticing for longtime fans.

“For season 30, they want to go big since it will be a milestone year,” a source told The Sun. “Nothing is finalized yet, as filming won’t begin until late spring or early summer of 2026. There’s still all of season 29 to get through, but producers are actively trying to lock in a deal to bring Blake and Adam back together. They’ve wanted that reunion for years and see season 30 as the perfect moment.”
Given The Voice’s status as one of television’s most successful competition shows, building a “superteam” of coaches to mark such an anniversary makes sense. Still, coordinating schedules—and budgets—won’t be easy.

“The biggest challenge is getting Blake and Gwen back at all, which could cost the show a fortune,” the source added. “Kelly’s schedule is another hurdle, especially with her busy workload and a tough year behind her. There are a lot of moving parts, but the producers are determined to make it work.”
Meanwhile, fans are also speculating about other possible returns. Niall Horan, who has enjoyed a remarkable run on the show, could complicate plans for a dream lineup. Aiden Ross, 20, won season 28 under Horan’s guidance, marking Horan’s third consecutive coaching victory—an achievement that’s hard to ignore.

Horan is no stranger to reality TV success, having first risen to fame on The X Factor in the UK before becoming part of the global phenomenon One Direction. If he returns for season 29 and secures a fourth straight win, his continued dominance could make him a strong contender for inclusion in a historic season 30.
While nothing is official yet, one thing is clear: The Voice is aiming to make its 30th season a celebration of its legacy—by bringing back the coaches who helped define it.
