With season 28 of The Voice now wrapped, fans are looking ahead to season 29—and there are some big changes in store. The next season premieres February 23, 2026, and longtime coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and John Legend will return to the iconic red chairs. However, Michael Bublé will not be joining them.

While Bublé hasn’t publicly explained his exit, it appears his busy music career played a role. Starting January 2026, he’ll be performing shows in Canada before heading to the U.K. and Ireland for a summer tour. Reports suggest he also wants to spend more time with his wife Luisana Lopilato and their four children in Burnaby, Canada.

Despite leaving the show, Michael expressed pride in his contestants this past season, writing on Instagram, “I’m so proud of Team Bublé this season. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible artists. To my final two, no matter what happens tonight, I know you both have amazing careers and lives ahead of you. Thank you for an unforgettable ride this season.”
Season 29 promises exciting twists, but Michael Bublé’s departure marks the end of an era for The Voice.
