It looks like Riley Green’s parents will be joining him on the road in 2026 — just not in his tour bus. This time, they’ll be traveling in a camper of their very own.
Riley’s mom, Karen, shared photos from the big reveal on Instagram after the family’s Christmas costume party. She and Riley’s dad showed up dressed as the iconic parents from A Christmas Story, a choice that clearly paid off. According to Karen, they walked away with the night’s “grand prize.”
The photos show the couple standing proudly beside their new camper, along with a few shots featuring Riley — dressed as Santa — presenting the surprise. Karen joked that it was the perfect solution for future tours.
“This is definitely one way to get us off of your bus,” she wrote, adding that they’re more than ready to hit the road.
“We won the GRAND PRIZE at the 2nd annual RG Christmas costume party! Thank you, Riley, for the generous and thoughtful surprise! This is definitely one way to get us off of your bus! We are ready to hit the road!”
After a gift like that, it’s hard to imagine how Riley could possibly top himself next year.
Of course, this isn’t the first time his parents have stolen the show. Last year, Karen dressed up as the pigeon lady from Home Alone 2 — and absolutely nailed it. That performance earned her the grand prize then as well: a brand-new Ford Bronco.
At this point, it wouldn’t be surprising if Riley’s parents kept winning year after year. Their costumes alone deserve the title. And for Riley, it’s a win-win — he gets to give his parents unforgettable gifts while still keeping them close on the road whenever they want to join him.
