“Reba” Alum JoAnna Garcia Swisher To Make A Special Guest Appearance On “Happy’s Place”

Fans of Happy’s Place have reason to celebrate—Reba McEntire confirmed that Season 2 will return this fall in a video shared on social media this June. The hit sitcom, which premiered last October, quickly became a fan favorite, following Bobbie (McEntire) as she inherits her father’s bar and discovers a half-sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), as they navigate running the business together. The show became Peacock’s most-watched new comedy, reaching over 10 million viewers.

Season 2 will feature several beloved faces from McEntire’s earlier sitcom Reba. Melissa Peterman, who starred as Barbara Jean, now plays Gabby, Bobbie’s best friend and bartender. Christopher Rich, Reba’s ex-husband on Reba, returns as Maverick, a tattoo artist.

Fans will be especially thrilled as JoAnna García Swisher joins the cast as Kenzie, a local Knoxville influencer hired to promote Happy’s Place’s social media campaign—much to Bobbie’s dismay. NBC shared a playful clip of McEntire and Peterman welcoming Swisher on set, calling it a “dream guest star unlocked.”

With returning favorites and exciting new faces, Season 2 promises more laughs, heart, and small-town charm for audiences this fall.
