The Outlaw Music Festival Tour is set to return in a big way in 2025, kicking off May 13 in Phoenix and wrapping up September 19 in East Troy, Wisconsin. The 35-date run will feature a rotating lineup of support acts, with organizers confirming appearances from Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Billy Strings, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, the Avett Brothers, Lake Street Dive, Waxahatchee, Lucinda Williams, and Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, among others.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Willie Nelson called the tour “an amazing lineup” and said he’s excited to celebrate the Outlaw Music Festival’s 10th anniversary with “friends and family” and the fans who’ve supported it from the start.
Although billed as a decade celebration, the festival’s first official tour launched in 2016 after beginning as a single show in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Since then, it has grown into an annual event featuring major artists like Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Neil Young, Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, and Zach Bryan.
In 2024, Nelson and Bob Dylan were the only performers scheduled for every date, though health issues forced Nelson to miss several shows, with his son Lukas stepping in to perform his father’s classics. Nelson closed out 2024 with Last Leaf On The Tree, his second album of the year, while Dylan will fold the festival dates into his ongoing Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour.
